It probably won’t surprise you to hear this, but I am a sucker for old musicals. Of course, one of my favorites is “The Sound of Music.” I cry nearly every time I watch it–partly because the music is wonderful, and partly because I am saddened that Julie Andrews (who I’m named after, by the way) has throat problems and can no longer sing as beautifully as she did back then.
